There has been a widespread water supply issue over the weekend caused by a Thames Water outage.

The outage is affecting a large area of East London, including the postcodes above. This affects all dwellings, not just THH blocks.

This will obviously be causing inconvenience at this already difficult time.  Thames Water has the latest information on their website here

Update 8am - Monday 18 Jan 2020

Specialist engineers from Thames Water are investigating the problem and doing everything they can to get things up and running as quickly as possible.

Once water supplies are reinstated by Thames Water, we need to allow time for tanks to refill and THH contractors will work on any issues caused.

THH caretakers are in the area and we are checking on vulnerable residents to assist with emergency water deliveries.

We will keep residents updated as the situation changes.

Update 11am - Monday 18 Jan 2020

Water supply is restored in most areas.  Please can residents check that their taps are turned off, to prevent flooding and allow the communal water tanks to re-fill more quickly.  Many thanks.

 Update 1:30pm - Monday 18 Jan 2020

Service has been fully restored.

Please note that it can take a little bit of time for the pressure in our pipes to build back up, so your water may splutter to begin with. Just turn on your cold kitchen tap and it should flow freely after a couple of minutes. If it’s cloudy, this should also clear fairly quickly.

Please bear with us and give us time especially in communal areas where the water would have been drained completely, they will take hours to fill back up especially if people keep trying to use the taps.  Many thanks and again apologies for the inconvenience that this has caused.
