Heating & Electrical specialists OCO Limited has won a five-year contract worth £11.6 million to provide maintenance and repair services to communal and heating systems on behalf of Tower Hamlets Homes. There is also an option to extend the contract by an extra four years depending on performance.
OCO Ltd will also maintain and repair boosted water pumps, block electrical equipment, roof ventilation fans, and emergency lighting in walkways and stairwells.
The service provides for a 24-hour emergency call out all year-round
Tower Hamlets Homes’ asset management director Will Manning said: We awarded this contract after a competitive tender based on value for money and quality. This is the first time we have worked with OCO, and we are confident that this partnership will bring a significant improvement to the service.”
