We’re recruiting a tenant to join our Residents’ Panel

Are you full of ideas, energy and have a passion to improve services? Do you want to help THH work better for yourself and your community? A spot has opened up on our Residents' Panel to join a group of volunteers from all walks of life, to serve as an advisory body that helps to shape what we do and how we work.

In this role you will:

  • Review and monitor customer service performance
  • Challenge and explore under-performance, and identify areas for improvement
  • Commission in-depth scrutiny of services and
  • Make recommendations for improvements

How does the Resident Panel work?

Membership of the Panel consists of 11 residents who serve three year terms and meet bi-monthly. The Panel is usually made up of five tenants, four leaseholds and two private tenants of leaseholders. We currently have a vacancy for a new tenant to join. Click here to learn more about our current members.

Since 2018, the Panel has carried out several reviews ranging from Health and Safety during Major works, building energy efficiency and improving our communication standards. Click here to access our scrutiny review reports.

Our Panel members are not paid, but we’ll meet appropriate travel and childcare expenses. You’ll also get to meet new people, learn valuable new skills and be a vital part of something big – building a better, brighter Tower Hamlets for everyone.
