Starting on 1 April 2022, K & T Heating Ltd will be providing all domestic gas servicing, repair and installation work for central heating and hot water systems in over 11,000 homes managed by Tower Hamlets Homes. The service also includes 24-hour emergency call out. Residents should continue to contact the Housing Service Centre on 020 7364 5015 if they have any problems with their gas boiler, central heating or hot water.
Tower Hamlets Homes has awarded K&T Heating Ltd a five-year contract for domestic gas servicing, repairs and maintenance. The contract includes an option for it to be extended for a maximum of five years subject to satisfactory performance.
The new contract will introduce evening and Saturday appointment slots to make it easier for residents to schedule their essential gas safety checks around their work and other commitments. Leaseholders are set to also benefit from the new contract by qualifying for the same prices for gas servicing as negotiated by Tower Hamlets Homes.
The contract will be delivered by a team of dedicated service operatives, including a female engineer and apprentices. As part of the contract, K&T Heating has also committed to supporting Tower Hamlets Homes residents and communities by helping to renovate ten community buildings, recruiting residents, donating IT equipment and sponsoring community events.
