Starting on 1 April 2022, ABCA Fire and Security will be maintaining door entry systems, CCTV systems, communal TV aerials and automated gates across all estates managed by Tower Hamlets Homes. Residents should continue to contact the Housing Service Centre on 020 7364 5015 if they have any problems with these systems in their blocks or on their estate.
Tower Hamlets Homes has awarded ABCA Fire and Security a four-year contract which includes an option for it to be extended to a maximum of seven years subject to satisfactory performance.
The new contract will be delivered by a team of six dedicated service operatives. It will also introduce evening and Saturday appointment slots to make it easier for residents to schedule essential repair around their work and other commitments.
As part of the contract, ABCA has also committed to recruiting four Tower Hamlets Homes residents as well as supporting a further two apprentices. They will also attend job fairs in the borough to help local residents access more opportunities in employment and training within their industry.
