Benefits and Wellbeing

At Tower Hamlets Homes we care about our employees. We know that a healthy, happy and connected team makes for an engaged, busy and productive team. THHbuzz is our very own benefits and rewards portal. It is also home to our online wellbeing centre. Employees can access activities, discounts, and advice to help maintain their wellbeing. Our interest-free Cycle to Work, Season Ticket, and technology loans are accessible to employees through the portal.

Mental Wellbeing

Tower Hamlets Homes is making big steps toward supporting our employees’ mental wellbeing. We work with Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham (MITHN) to offer our staff free access to confidential face-to-face counselling sessions. BHSF provide our employees with in-the-moment phone access to BACP-accredited counsellors. Our Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) are also there if you need a chat. They are not counsellors or psychologists. But they help by being someone who can listen. They can also point colleagues to our other support services.

Smarter Working

We want to ensure everyone can access a healthy work-life balance. Whilst our busy offices remain hives of activity, THH is making big new changes to the ways we work. We’re giving employees more flexibility to create a working style makes sense for them. We’re introducing new laptops which will encourage smarter and more agile working.

This will allow our employees to work from an environment that suits them best. That might be at home, another office, or the coffee shop down the road. What matters is that our staff are happy, productive and providing our residents with the best service they can.
