Embracing equality is really important to all of us a Tower Hamlets Homes. Since 2017, all companies with 250 or more employees are required by law to report on the difference in pay between male and female staff. In 2018, Tower Hamlets Homes also took the decision to record and publish its ethnicity pay gap. To measure this gap, we look at the mean (average hourly rate) and median (the middle hourly rate) pay gap, as well as the white to BME ratio in each pay quartile of our workforce.
