What do emergency repairs
include? >>
You can expect us to complete the work within 24 hours or make
it safe if this is not possible.
You must make sure someone is at home to let
the contractor in. If you go out and we can’t get into your
property, your emergency repair will be cancelled and you will have
to report it again.
If we carry out an emergency repair and you are responsible
for the repair, you will be charged for the work and call
out. Read more about
repairs you’re responsible for >>
Keeping you safe
When someone calls to do your repair always ask
to see and check their identification (ID) - all our repair
contractors carry ID cards to make sure you don’t fall prey to
bogus callers.
If the contractor can’t produce an ID card, do
not let them into your home. Contact us straight away on 0800 376
1637 or call the police.
Our residents' safety is important to us and
we will investigate all calls about bogus callers and, for your
peace of mind and with your agreement, we will call you back to
keep you updated.
