Doing your repair - our code of conduct
At the Repairs Service, we’ll do everything we
can to provide you with the best possible service. We
will:
- send a fully-trained contractor at the appointed time

- always carry official ID and tell you our names
- be polite and never use offensive behaviour or language
- not smoke in your home or use a radio or cassette
- follow health and safety regulations
- treat your home and property with care and respect
- do the repair (or inspection) you reported and leave your home
clean and tidy after the work.
If the contractor can’t do all the work needed
on that visit, they will explain why and immediately arrange
another appointment with you.
If the problem is being inspected first, the
contractor will tell you what needs doing and when it will be done
by.
When someone calls to inspect or carry
out your repair always ask to see and check
their identification - all our repair inspectors and contractors
carry ID cards to make sure you don’t fall prey to
bogus callers.
