Setting up a Tenants and Resident
Association
A Tenant and Resident Association is a group formed by local
residents joining together to work for common aims.
If you don't have a Tenant and Resident
Association in your area, we can offer advice and support to
help you set one up.
You can expect us to:
- meet new groups to offer our advice
- support you in selecting a management committee
- give you advice about the roles of the key officers - such as
chair, secretary and treasurer
- offer advice on equal opportunities policies and your
constitution
- help with creating and translating your initial publicity
- advise on financial support through the small grants
scheme
- promote access to training and development
