About the group
Tower Hamlets Homes is committed to making
sure that residents have a say about the housing services we
deliver to them. That’s why we’ve set up a service improvement
group to look at ways of improving the services we deliver to
leaseholders and freeholders.
Group members
The Group meets monthly and is made up of:
- 2 Board Members
- 2 Representatives from the Leaseholders Focus Group (LFG)
- 3 Representatives from the Tower Hamlets Leaseholders
Association(THLA)
- Leaseholder Services Senior Management
- Environmental Services Senior Management
The Chair of the Leasehold Service Improvement
Group is Iain Lawson, a leaseholder Board Member.
What we do
- We set a clear focus for improving housing
services to leaseholders
- We come up with practical ideas about how we
can improve services
- We look at how we can make sure leaseholders
and freeholders get value for money
- We also review the work of the service
improvement projects
We'll make our meeting papers available
to you electronically soon after each meeting to make sure
that the Leasehold Services Improvement Group business is
as inclusive, accessible and fair as possible.
Service Improvement Projects
We are looking at three projects. They will
help make sure that service charges are accurate.
- Mapsite accuracy - how estate costs
such as estate cleaning are charged
- Improving caretaking and cleaning
- Management & administrative charges – how
we can achieve value for money
Each project was chosen by the Service
Improvement Group following feedback from the Leasehold Focus Group.
