Publication scheme
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 all public authorities
are required to have a publication scheme to ensure that
information about them is routinely available as part of normal
business.
Tower Hamlets Homes is committed to promoting openness and
transparency and ensuring that a significant and growing amount of
information we hold is readily available without the need for
individuals to make a specific requests for information. Tower
Hamlets Homes intends to publish as much information as possible,
subject to the exemptions which apply under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 or other relevant legislation.
This will be done through the Publication Scheme which is
a list of information that falls into seven categories
identified by the
Information Commissioner in a model
scheme.
The Publication Scheme will point you to the
published information you are seeking or if the information is not
published we will notify you whether we intend for it to be
published and whether there are any applicable fees or charges for
the information requested. All information available on the
Tower Hamlets Homes website is free of
charge.
