Making an appointment
You can make an appointment to
get most repairs done at a time that's best for you, so you don’t
have to wait in all day for someone to turn up. You can
choose between morning (am) or afternoon (pm) - whichever suits you
best.
- Morning (am) means 8.00am to 1.00pm
- Afternoon (pm) means 1.00 pm to 5.00pm
When you contact us you
can expect us to tell you how long it will take to complete your
repair and make an appointment with you for the work to be carried
out. You can get an appointment for most repairs, except
emergency repairs because they are done so
quickly - we just ask you to stay at home and wait for the
contractor to call.
When you report a repair online, you can
requestconfirmation by
email.
Re-arranging your
appointment
If can’t keep the appointment for any reason,
please let us know, even if your appointment is that day. We will
be happy to arrange another appointment at a time convenient to
you.
Cancelling your appointment
If you need to cancel an appointment for any reason,
please call us as soon as you can, so we can give the appointment
to someone else.
Missed appointments
Although you should only make an appointment
when you know you will be at home, we understand that sometimes you
may be unavoidably called away. If you are out when one of
our contractors calls they will leave a calling card. Please phone
the contractor using the number on the card to arrange another
appointment.
If the contractor doesn't turn up when we say they
would
If we make an appointment with you for repair
work, and the contractor fails to turn up on time, we will pay you
£10
compensation.
