Money advice

Many people run into money problems. It can be because of a
relationship breakdown, job loss, illness, bereavement, or
sometimes just a large unexpected bill.
Sometimes, money problems
are short term and can be sorted out easily, but we know sometimes
things can get out of hand. This happens most often when people
have lots of debts for things like credit and store cards or loans
and sometimes it can all seem too difficult to face up to.
This may mean that you are unable to pay your
rent, which can lead to rent arrears and court action against
you.
If you are having severe financial
difficulties we can send you Dealing with Debt - a free
advice pack, with sample letters you can use to send to creditors,
or we can make an appointment for you with the Citizens Advice
Bureau for independent advice.
