THH partners with Global Action Plan to engage residents in creating happier and healthier neighbourhoods

Tower Hamlets Homes, have partnered with Global Action Plan, an environmental charity, to engage local residents in an environmental scheme for a happier and healthier place to live. The scheme is being set up in partnership with local residents and area housing office staff to improve the community environment.

The project aims to improve the local environment, develop community relationships and support environmentally friendly choices, including recycling, grow your own food and energy saving.

We are piloting this approach across four neighbourhoods, Chicksand, Cranbrook, Pitsea and Will Crooks, over the coming year. Throughout April and May, the scheme will focus on creating real opportunities for residents to get involved in the project and engage within their community.
