STATUS tenants' survey 2008
Your verdict: We’re getting better – but
we’ve still got work to do!
Status is a statutory tenants’ survey that
local authorities must carry out at least every three years. The
survey is very important as the results will provide information
about our performance, which will be used as part of the later
performance assessment by the Audit Commission.
The survey was carried out by Ispos MORI, who
sent about 3000 questionnaires to the randomly chosen tenants.
The survey findings confirm that your
priorities are:
- repairs (81 percent)
- the overall quality of your home (47
percent)
- dealing with anti-social behaviour (44
percent)
- keeping you informed (36 percent)
You also said you that getting hold of the
right person was easy, and that we were helpful in dealing with
your problem.
But, you thought we could do better at telling
you about things that might affect you as a tenant, and that we
need to improve our response to your complaints about anti-social
behaviour.
We will be looking at all the ways in which
you said we could do better, over the next 12 months, to help us
focus on where to improve your housing services.
