It’s only been five days since we opened our
new counters at Bethnal Green and
Stepney and Wapping housing offices and already we’ve
been getting positive comments from you.
Since 1st of February, we’ve had
our own staff working at the counters in Bethnal Green and Stepney
offices. This means we can deal direct with your housing problems
and provide you with the help and advice you need. When you visit
our offices you’ll be met by one of our staff who will direct you
to the right service point – cutting waiting times.
Residents said they were much happier with the
new service because there were no more lengthy queues. They also
said how impressed they were with the efficiency of the counter
staff.
Bethnal Green resident, Mr Rahman, said: “It
is now a very good and speedy service. Before, I use
to end up shouting about my query.” He added: “I really
appreciate the change in the housing office.”
