Our new 100 day repair improvement plan kicks off with a fun
packed repairs day on Sidney estate
Residents of Sidney estate were the first to
benefit from a number of repair days set to take place across Tower
Hamlets Homes’ neighbourhoods over the next 100 days. Repair days
are part of our new 100 day repairs improvement plan and a chance
for every resident to speak direct to their contractor about their
repair needs.
The plan outlines how we will work with our
residents and our contractors, EPS and Morrison, to ensure
that we deliver a better repair service in the next 100 days.
A resident from Sidney estate said: “The repair
day was brilliant! Residents got their repairs done straight away
and the event was run really well.”
Another resident from the estate, said: “Residents were
able to explain their repair to the contractor and get them done
straight away – without having to take time off work!”
As well sorting out repairs inside residents’
homes, contractors EPS, were out and about on Sidney Estate dealing
with communal repairs including repairing broken pavements,
replacing missing bollards, fixing damaged guttering and
re-painting railings.

2009, Chicksand Estate, Bethnal Green. If you’re a
resident on the estate, why not come along and tell us your repair
needs? Just look out for our stall and vans between Pauline
House and Hanbury Street in the pedestrian walkway.
