youngsters paint a brighter future (June 2009)
Young residents in Spitalfields and Banglatown created their very
own mural last week with the help of big- hearted volunteers.

Bethnal Green One Stop Shop get new reception
(May 2009)
Tower Hamlet Homes, in partnership with the Tower Hamlets Council,
has developed a brand new reception area at the One Stop Shop,
Bethnal Green, providing residents with an altogether better
customer service experience.

Our Customer Promise went under the spotlight in April when we
asked residents from our Getting Involved Register what they
thought about it, and
whether they thought it reflected the things that are important
to
them. Resident Frederic Sibille, Bethnal Green told us what he
thought
and found himself the lucky winner of £50 vouchers!

Tower
Hamlets Homes and Tower Hamlets Local Area Partnership are holding
an information session on repairs for Malmesbury Estate residents
on Monday 27 April at Caxton Hall, Caxton Grove E3 between 5:30pm
and 8pm. Tower Hamlets Homes’ staff will be there to answer any
questions you have about repairs, future works, and how to get the
most

Play area fun day goes with a
swing (April 2009)
A fun day organised by Tower Hamlets Homes Community Development
Officers, with local residents, marked the launch of the newly
refurbished play area on the Locksley estate, this weekend.
Rent increase 2009-10
(April 2009)
We are aware that some tenants have not
received their rent notification letter from the Council
advising them of their rent increase for 2009-10.This is due to a
technical problem and we are working to ensure that
these letters are issued as soon as
possible.
We won £50 for having our
say!
Linda Quane
and Alice Irving, residents from Bethnal Green, found themselves
the lucky winners of £50 last week after completing the STATUS
tenants’ survey.
A new way to pay your rent. (March 2009)
You can now pay your rent by calling the Tower Hamlets Homes
rents
team on 020 7364 2200. Just have your credit or
debit card handy when
you call – we'll do the
rest! Lines are open
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
We accept most major debit or credit cards. There is a surcharge
for
payments made by credit card.
Eager residents brave bad weather to get repairs
fixed (March 2009)
Despite the bad weather last week, the residents on Boundary and
Shadwell,Tarling and Martineau estates were eager to pop along to
their
local repair day and get their repairs fixed.
More repair days announced (March
2009)
The next two repair days will take place this week; the first will be
held at
Boundary
estate, Bethnal Green and the
other at Shadwell Gardens,
Tarling and Martineau estates, Wapping.
THH partners with Global Action Plan to
engage residents in creating
happier

Residents flock to repairs day on
Chicksand (March 2009)

a number of residents queue to get their repairs fixed.

Citizens of Equal Worth: the National Tenant

designed to ensure that tenants’ views sit
