Worried about heating costs this Winter? East End Energy Fit
may be able to help.
With
rising and fuel prices and plummeting temperatures, many residents
may be worried about meeting the costs of heating their homes this
winter. But don't worry help may be at hand. The EAST END
ENERGY FIT project, a joint initiative between the Bromley by Bow
Centre and Toynbee Hall, is designed to help people clear
their fuel debts and benefit from further advice. They can
also provide help and advice with:
- Clearing priority household debts: water,
sewerage, council tax and rent
- Getting money towards buying essential
household items such as beds, cookers, washing machines,
refrigerators
- Getting money to pay other bills and costs
such as telephone debts, funeral payments, boiler
repairs/replacement, debt relief order fee and bankruptcy
deposit
- Providing home energy efficiency advice to
save you those precious pounds
