500,000 fridge freezers could be posing
serious fire risks in homes and businesses across the country, the
London Fire Brigade (LFB) has warned after a fire in Bermondsey,
south-east London, was started by a faulty freezer manufactured by
Beko.
The BEKO frost free fridge freezer models
affected were manufactured between January 2000 and October 2006.
If you have any concerns, you can call Beko's helpline on
0800 009 4837 or you can visit the Beko website and enter your model and
serial number to check online whether your fridge-freezer is
affected.
