Congratulations to Mr & Mrs H for winning the
rent team’s ‘clear rent account’ prize draw last week. They
received a 42 inch LED LCD TV.
The happy couple, from Stepney, were one of
7049 tenants automatically entered into the prize draw held in
April 2011.
The competition was open to all Tower Hamlets Homes residential
rent account holders who had a clear account on 1st April 2011.
“We’ve been tenants for over 40 years,” said
Mr Hunter. “We were really excited when we found out - we’ve
never won anything in our lives!”
The winners were picked at random on April
4th 2011.
‘Clear rent account’ prize draws are used to encourage tenants to
make regular payments and to discourage missed rent payments.
“We had 242 more accounts clear or in credit
after we had run the competition than when we started,” said Les
Warren, Tower Hamlets Homes Director of Finance and Customer
Services (pictured above, right).
“This is the first year we’ve run the
competition. We’ll definitely be looking at running it again,
soon,” he added.
