New sweeping machine boosts caretaking service

Watch out for our new mechanical sweeper on your estate, starting this week. The new ‘ride-on’ machine can clear litter, bottles, cans and weeds from estate roads and footways, and will be working hard to keep your estates clean 5 days a week.

Delivered last week, the new sweeper brings a welcome boost to the caretaking service.
 “As well as helping to get our estates cleaner, it will give caretaking staff more time to focus on improving and cleaning inside blocks, which is a priority for our residents, said Paul Herbert, Caretaking Manager.

Chief Executive, Gavin Cansfield is committed to the project. “Residents have a right to expect to live in a clean environment and to take pride in where they live” he explained.
“Keeping our neighbourhoods clean and tidy is one of our main priorities. We hope the new sweeper will bring us a step closer to delivering that” he added.
