March sees launch of Neighbourhood Days
Residents are gearing up to meet their neighbourhood
housing team, to tell them how they want their local area to
improve.
Neighbourhood housing teams are planning a
series of Neighbourhood Days, in which they will meet and talk to
residents, across the borough.
“We want residents to come along to chat to us
about their local area and tell us how they want to see it improve.
We want to hear their ideas about tackling anti-social behaviour,
making cleaner, greener and safer estates, or tackling
overcrowding.
The events are a chance for residents to tell
us what’s important to them and their family, and have a real
input into their Neighbourhood Action Plan.
If residents just want to come and see us for
advice, we can help with that too.” said Jonathan Gregory, new Head
of Neighbourhood Services. “Staff from, rents, repairs, resident
engagement- a whole range of services - will be there to answer
their queries.”
The first of the Neighbourhood Days kicks off
on Friday 19th March in the Locksley neighbourhood and
continues on Friday 26th March in the Hollybush neighbourhood.
More Neighbourhood Days will be announced
soon. You can find details of when we’ll be round your way, in your
notice boards, in your Neighbourhood newsletter, or on our
Website.
