Whether you’re a tenant, a leaseholder or even a freeholder - here’s something to get excited about. Throughout July and August we’ve been changing your housing service so no matter which neighbourhood you live in there’s just one neighbourhood housing officer to take care all your housing needs - from repairs and communal gardening to block cleaning and refuse removal.

And even better, each Monday your neighbourhood housing officer will carry out a walkabout on your estate - in addition to the inspection they do each month - to make sure your estate is up to scratch. Which means cleaner, greener estates for everyone this summer.

To find out who your neighbourhood housing officer is, just watch out for their picture and details in the notice boards in your block. You’ll catch them first in Stepney and Wapping, followed by Bethnal Green, Bow and Poplar.
