How you access our services is changing
To make it easier for you to access our
services, from 26 April, if you need to see us, you should
come to one of our local housing offices, at Cheviot House
(opposite Watney Market on Commercial Road), 1 Rushmead (next to
Tesco on Bethnal Green Road) or 542 Roman Road (around the corner
from the Council’s Gladstone Place office).
You should still go to the One Stop Shops for
all Council queries.
The 26th also sees the opening of a Housing
and Regeneration Advice Point in Robin Hood Gardens, to support
residents through the Blackwall Reach development process. Our
housing officers will work there with colleagues from the Council
to make sure that residents are fully aware of how the regeneration
of the estate will impact them. The advice centre will open
every Tuesday and Thursday between 9am -5pm.
We’re also launching a number of local housing
surgeries across the borough where you can pop in for housing
advice. Watch out for more details about a surgery near you on your
notice board or your neighbourhood newsletter or on our website
We’re also happy to come and meet you in your
home. Just give us a call and let us know you want a home
visit.
