Changes planned in Poplar

From April, we’re planning to change the way residents in Poplar access our services.

The One Stop Shop at Chrisp Street will remain open to deal with enquiries for all council services, such as lettings, parking and benefits, but will no longer deal with housing queries.

We’re opening a new Housing and Regeneration Advice Centre in Robin Hood Gardens to support residents through the Blackwall Reach development process.

We also guarantee a home visit from a housing officer within 10 days if you need one, and looking into setting up new housing advice sessions in the Poplar area.

Residents will still be able to contact us by phone on 020 7364 5015, or online, or at any Housing Office.
