Hollybush, Stapleton House
Orchard
The Stapleton House Orchard was established by
the Teesdale & Hollybush TRA. Margaret Cox, the Chair of
the TRA, played a key role in its development.
The orchard was planted in January 2011 by local residents.
Each young fruit tree including apple, plum, peach and
greengage (a type of plum, ranging in colour from green to
yellow) is expected to begin to bear fruit from one to five
years after planting.
