Hollybush, Stapleton House
Orchard
The Stapleton House Orchard was established by
the Teesdale & Hollybush TRA. Margaret Cox, the Chair of
the TRA, has played a key role in its development.
This orchard, along with the Rocky Park Orchard, was planted in
January 2011 by local residents.
The young fruit trees including apple, plum, peach and greengage
(a type of plum, ranging in colour from green to yellow) are
expected to begin to bear fruit from one to five years after
planting.
