Dorset, Tomlinson Close

Tomlinson Close was identified and chosen due to the fact the site is easily accessible by large numbers of local residents.  The land was under used.  We asked residents living in blocks surrounding the Close what they wanted to see happen with the area, and the general consensus was in support of an allotment scheme.  We are in the process of setting up a management committee for the site, who would deal with matters such as allocations and helping us run the scheme.
