Shadwell, Solander Gardens

Previously an allotment site, the area was not maintained and fell into disrepair, and eventually abandoned.  We asked residents living in blocks surrounding Solander Gardens what they wanted to see happen with the area, and the general consensus was in support of an allotment scheme. The area has since been brought back into use with a total of 21 plots. We are currently in the process of setting up a management committee for the site, who would deal with matters such as allocations and helping us run the scheme.
