Approach allotment

This allotment was established in early 2010.

We worked with our colleagues at Tower Hamlets Council to help the Approach allotment group obtain a temporary licence to use the land as an allotment.

Much of the allotment space has already been allocated to local residents. More ‘raised beds’ being constructed to meet demand.

The Approach Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) was awarded £5,000 from Tower Hamlets Homes' You Make a Difference Today Fund to help create the project.

The group has also been successful in obtaining £5,000 from the Council’s Healthy Borough Programme.

Tower Hamlets Homes manages housing services for Tower Hamlets Council.
