Tenants' Home Contents Insurance Scheme
All tenants are responsible for insuring their
furniture, belongings and
other household contents against fire, theft, vandalism or
water damage such as burst pipes.
Tower Hamlets Homes strongly advises all council tenants to take
out home insurance in some form.

is being administered externally by an independent insurance broker.
