Can I extend my lease?

 

Yes, as long as you meet the following criteria:

  • Your flat is held under a long lease i.e. one which was granted for a term of more than 21 years.
  • You have owned the flat for more than 2 years

If you are eligible you may be able to extend your lease up to 90 years.

You will be liable for any costs we incur negotiating and granting a new lease to you, including obtaining a valuation of your flat.

We recommend you to talk a solicitor before taking any action.
