Getting to know you
The better we know you the better we can tailor our services
suit you.
By understanding your needs and those who live with you, we are
more able to provide you with a suitable plan of action to help
your situation - such as the safe and secure
scheme or provide you with other
support services.
Our ‘Getting to know you’ conversation is when
your Neighbourhood Housing Officer sits down with you and discusses
your situation and how we may be able to help.
They will talk with you about health and
disability, financial issues, drug and alcohol issues, caring
responsibilities and any other area which concerns you.
You can give them as much or as little
information as you want. They won’t pressure you to answer, and are
happy to explain why they are asking each question.
So if you have a problem you think we might be
able to help with, or you feel like you need extra support – get in
touch with us and we’ll arrange for a
Neighbourhood Housing Officer to come and meet with you. We've
produced our 'Getting to know you' leaflet in a range of
community langauges. You can also find more information in
different langauages in our publications
section.
