Because people are different, people have different things that they need help with. We want to make sure this help and support meets your individual or personal needs. This is why we call is a ‘personal offer’.

If you live in a home that is managed by Tower Hamlets Homes, then you can ask us for the help you need. We will try to help, or we can introduce you to another organisation that might be able to help you.

We can provide lots of different types of help and support to residents.

This could be support with language, additional care or additional storage space.
It could also be support with your housing application.

If you are vulnerable or have a disability we may be able to offer you:

  • Extended use of the respite facilities
  • Language and/or translation support (in the case of non-English speaking households)
  • Temporary accommodation where possible
  • Additional care support
  • Support if you decide to live with relatives during decent homes work
  • Help with your housing application.

If you live in an overcrowded household we may be able to offer you:

  • Additional kitchen storage space
  • Use of the residents' room living facilities during the decent homes work
  • Additional space through storage shed, space-saving furniture, decorating your home, or paying for removal costs
  • Help with your application to swap homes with other residents in the same decent homes block
  • Support with your bid for new properties.
