Other important stuff you should know
Working hours
- Our working hours are 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. This
includes preparing your property for work each day and cleaning up
at the end of the day.
- If we need to work in your home outside of these hours, we will
speak to you first. Please let us know early if you are not
available so we can make alternative arrangements for access.
- We will carry out any exceptionally noisy work between 9am and
3pm wherever possible.
- Clear the area we are working in at the end of every working
day and have the site manager inspect it.
Children under 16
Children aged 16 or younger must not be left
on their own in the property and must be supervised by a
responsible adult while work is being carried out.
Valuable and fragile
items
We will always take care and treat your home
with respect at all times. However, please remove valuable or
fragile items to avoid accidental damage.
Allowing us access
Your tenancy agreement says you must allow
Tower Hamlets Homes and its contractors reasonable access to your
home. If you do not allow us in, or if you break appointments
without telling us, the work to your home may be delayed. The
contractors will inform Tower Hamlets Homes if they cannot gain
access to do the work.
