Get involved in the works to your
home

Listening and taking on board your feedback helps us improve the way the works are
managed.
We are keen to hear from residents about what
you think could be improved.
We receive feedback through Resident
Satisfaction surveys and we take on board any suggestions for
improvements that could reasonably be done.
We also ask for feedback from residents who
have had works completed in their homes.
Have a say in how the programme in your neighbourhood will be
managed
Before the work begins, we will arrange
meetings for affected tenants in your neighbourhood with your
Tenants’ and Residents’ Association .
The meetings will give you the opportunity to
find out more about the works and ask questions.
We will also hold drop-in sessions if
you don’t have a Tenants’ and Residents’ Association in your
area or if you just want to know more.Tenants will be able
to meet the contractor, find out what the works will include
and how long they will take.
We will let you know when we will be
working in your area. The contractor will provide you with a
proposed survey date and a proposed start date for the works in
your home.
The contractor will have several people on
site that will become familiar faces to you. They will tell you who
the members of the site team are for your area - including the name
of the Liaison Officer.
We will also appoint a Tower Hamlets Homes
Resident Liaison Officer for your block.
How to get involved
There are different ways you can get involved
in the Decent Homes programme and make sure you have your say.
- Attend TRA and drop-in meetings in your area
to find out more.
- Come along to meet the contractor (once they
are appointed) and see a show flat of the work (show flats will be
set up in most areas, but not all)
- Join the Getting Involved Register (GIR) to
receive regular updates about how the work is progressing.
- Join the Investment Service Improvement Group
(when a new contractor is appointed) to help review the
contractor’s performance.
