Decent Homes Programme
Year Three (April 2013 / March 2014)
Decent Homes began the third year of works in
April 2013. This will continue the work started in 2011 to
internally refurbish properties.
If your home is included in Year 3 of the
decent homes programme, a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) will
visit you to find out what your circumstances are prior to any
works taking place and explain each stage of the process.
The RLO will also need to complete a
questionnaire with you to make sure we are taking into account any personal needs you may have,
such as mobility issues or getting information to you in another
format.
Year 3 will include external renovations to
properties for the first time. Only some properties will be
receiving external works and the work will be based on individual
surveys of properties and blocks. External works may include
windows, roofs and/or concrete external renewals to bring
properties and blocks up to the THH Decency Standard.
