Approach allotment

This allotment was established in early 2010.

Tower Hamlets Homes worked with our colleagues at Tower Hamlets Council to help the Approach allotment group obtain a Temporary Licence for the use of the land as an allotment space.

Much of the allotment space has been allocated to local residents and due to the high interest there are more ‘raised beds’ being constructed to meet this demand.

The Approach Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) has been awarded £5,000 from Tower Hamlets Homes' You Make a Difference Today Fund to help create the project.

The group has also been successful in obtaining £5,000 from the Council’s Healthy Borough Programme.

Tower Hamlets Homes manages housing services for Tower Hamlets Council.
