Malmesbury green spaces project

Posted on Wednesday 3rd April 2019

This weekend join Malmesbury Residents Association as they launch a project to rejuvenate unloved areas. The Association is working with THH and Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park to turn under used areas of land on the estate into havens for wildlife and residents alike.Daffodils

The community has identified several sites to work on over the coming year and the launch event this Saturday will start with a plot at the corner of Malmesbury Road and Coborn Road. The community will plant 180 colourful, nectar rich plants on 6 April from 10am onwards.

There’ll be cake, music and more for all the volunteers – the more the merrier. If you’d like to join in, simply turn up on the day or email malmesburyresidents@gmail.com for more details. You can also follow Malmesbury Residents Association on Twitter at @MalmesburyResi1

If you’d like to turn your unloved spaces into wildlife havens contact our community partnerships team at community.partnerships@thh.org.uk
