Tower Hamlets Homes is proud to announce that the Inspiring Communities Fund is now open for a eighth round of funding.

The Fund will offer grants of between £100 - £2000 to THH residents who have great ideas to improve their local neighbourhoods. The Fund aims to help local people improve where they live through social activities or small environmental projects. If you’ve ever wanted to start a Community Food Garden or set up a service to help others in your neighbourhood, now’s your chance.

We are particularly keen to fund locally based social activities that target young people (as well as other age groups) and bring people in our neighbourhoods together. You can apply for funding to support local events, projects and activities or even equipment for your community centre. Individual residents*, Community Groups, and Tenants’ and Residents’ Associations can apply.

Please note that if you have applied for funding in the last two funding rounds (March and June 2018), you will not be able to receive more than £2,000 total across all three.

Fokrul Hoque, Community Partnerships Manager at THH said:

"There are so many people in the community who want to make a difference – our Inspiring Communities Fund is a good initiative which helps make projects a reality. If you’re a THH resident and you’ve got a great idea for a project that could make a real difference to your community – we want to hear from you!”

To apply, simply download, complete and return your application to us by 5pm on Friday 28th September 2018.
