Tower Hamlets Homes’ Chief Executive Gavin Cansfield has announced that he will be leaving his role later this year.

Gavin has overseen a hugely successful period for the ALMO – with marked improvements to its customer service, the delivery of over 5,000 Decent Homes, and being ranked second nationally by Stonewall for its approach to workplace equality.

Gavin, who has been with THH for just over six years, is to become the new Chief Executive of North Hertfordshire Homes in June. He said:

“It has been a fantastic experience, seeing the service improve so much for our customers, the investment in the stock we manage, the development of new homes, accreditations for our customer service excellence, and social housing equality framework, and our recent success with Stonewall.”

“It feels good to be leaving on a high, the organisation is performing well, our business plan is delivering and we have made tangible progress towards making THH a great place to work.”

He added, “I’m sure THH will achieve even more in the coming years.”

Tower Hamlets Homes is an arms’ length management organisation providing high quality housing services to residents living in 22,000 Tower Hamlets Council homes.
