Inspiring Communities Fund

         ICF Banner Sept 2019

The 11th round for the Inspiring Communities Fund is now closed. The next round is open Friday 10 January 2020 and closes Friday 7 February 2020.

Tower Hamlets Homes is proud to announce that the Inspiring Communities Fund is now open for the 11th round of funding.

The Inspiring Communities Fund will offer grants of between £100 - £5000 to THH residents and community organisations with great ideas on how to improve their local neighbourhoods.* Before applying, please read through the Application Guidance Notes carefully to find out more about our funding requirements. You may be interested in partnering up with another community organisation or TRA for your application – for more information, please take a look at the Community Asset List.

We are keen to fund locally-based social activities that bring people in THH neighbourhoods together. You can apply for funding to support local events, projects and activities: if you’ve ever wanted to start a Community Food Garden or set up an exercise class to benefit others in your neighbourhood – this is your chance. Individual residents**, Community Groups and Tenants’ and Residents’ Associations can apply.

*Please note the next round of this funding will re-open on the 10 January 2020.  If you would like to hold or deliver any Christmas events or activities this is the round to submit your application.

Fokrul Hoque, Community Partnerships Manager at THH said:

"There are so many people in the community who want to make a difference – our Inspiring Communities Fund is a good initiative which helps make projects a reality. If you’re a THH resident or a local community group, and you’ve got a great idea for a project that could make a real difference to your community – we want to hear from you!"
