Inspiring Communities Fund
Tower Hamlets Homes' Inspiring Communities Fund offers grants of between £100 - £5000 to Tower Hamlets Homes residents and local community groups who have great ideas for improving their local neighbourhoods.
We can fund a range of different initiatives: everything from Community Food Gardens to events that bring communities together, and from social activities for older and socially isolated residents to activities for young people during school holidays.
We are particularly keen to fund environmental projects and locally based social activities that target a wide range of age groups and improve physical and/or mental health.
Who can apply?
We accept applications from individual Tower Hamlets Homes residents*, Community Groups, and Tenants’ and Residents’ Associations. We do not pay for any staff salaries or for any capital costs to purchase equipment/furniture from this fund. Please refer to the Application Guidance Notes for further details.
*Please note that individual resident applications will need support from a TRA or Community Group, which will need to have a bank account that the grant can be paid into.
The Inspiring Communities Fund will reopen for applications on Friday 20th September.
The exact forms may change ahead of the next round of the fund, but to get an idea of the process, please refer to the documents downloadable below:
