Advice, Training and Employment

Employment and Training

We have a number of employment and training initiatives to support THH residents into employment or further training. Our partners Go-Train deliver employment training from the Financial Health Centre everyday along with helping residents find employment. They deliver sector specific training covering administration, retail and healthcare to name a few. To find out more on how they can help you call Zara Amjad on 07710 166 821, or email

We also have a project with East London Business Alliance (ELBA) to work with our residents on our THHRIVE employment project. The project supports residents secure entry level employment opportunities in administration, clerical, security and hospitality jobs in and around Canary Wharf and City locations. To find out more on how they can help you call Ian Walker on  0207 068 6995, or email

We run various activities throughout the year in addition to the above, so if you would like to find out more about how to get involved then please call us on 0207 364 2200 or email

Financial Health Centre

The Financial Health Centre (FHC) opened its door to the people of Tower Hamlets in September 2018 and has helped over 2000 residents within the first year of service with various welfare benefits, housing and employment related issues, including helping claim £1,4million in benefits, consolidated over £450,000 worth of debts and supported 172 residents into work.

Please see below for further information about the specific services on offer throughout the week. Drop-in sessions will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and limited to six people per session, so we advise that you come early in either the morning or afternoon to avoid disappointment. To book an appointment, please call 020 7364 2200.
